Dave Black Aug 28, 2013 2:01 AM (in response to sleepingcatnz)Hi sleepingcatnz, there are tons of jQuery plugins that you can use for this. Here's a good place to start: http://speckyboy.com/2010/11/14/20-jquery-image-and-multimedia-gallery-plugins/
But really, a search online should give you a whole lot more.
Remember to check the code so you are sure it is one you can easily use.

sleepingcatnz Aug 28, 2013 3:13 PM (in response to thetrickster888)Trickster this is really interesting - yes the BC web app integration is the important part so the client can update. I hadn't heard of Joe Watkins before. Interesting responsive tutorial there too.

sleepingcatnz Sep 2, 2013 3:08 AM (in response to sleepingcatnz)Video gallery is what I'm after with scrolling thumbnails underneath. Would need to be in the form of a web app that the client can update.

Liam Dilley Sep 2, 2013 3:38 AM (in response to sleepingcatnz)Again look at cycle examples. It is images in the example but has an example specifically doing that. All you do is convert the elements into the web app layouts.

sleepingcatnz Sep 18, 2013 10:03 AM (in response to thetrickster888)Trickster, after much research I've settled with: http://html5box.com/html5gallery/index.php
Nivo gallery is also very good but I think that html5box is more suitable for this project. So I need to integrate this as a web app for CMS.

sleepingcatnz Sep 18, 2013 2:57 PM (in response to Liam Dilley)Liam, yes that one is great but no scrolling thumbnails? Having researched it, the correct terminology is a video slider, of which my preference is http://html5box.com/html5gallery/index.php
Good resource: http://www.queness.com/post/13232/8-feature-packed-sliders-that-support-video

Liam Dilley Sep 18, 2013 4:36 PM (in response to sleepingcatnz)Did you not look a the documentation and demo's?
http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle2/demo/caro-pager.php
Is that not what you after?
I have done this many times with video and multiple element types where its video or images.
