I must be missing something. What is the problem? Do you balance columns
Click and hold for a moment before dragging.

I had to watch the video 4 times before I saw the difference. CS5 is updating lives as you drag, CS6 updates when you release.
This is due, no doubt, to the prefs settings for Live Screen Drawing inthe two versions. In CS5 it's always on by default, in CS6 it's set to delayed by default.

Ah, subtle. Didn't see that.
Or set live screen drawing to immediatebut I don't recommend that.
You are AMAZING! Thank you so much, I looked for I don't know how long and Google just wasnt working. I didn't know what I was talking about.
Thanks again everyone!
I'm curious, why don't you recommend setting Live Screen to immediate?
Adobe changed the default for a reason. It tends to really slow things down
especially on longer documents.
Our documents never go over 3 pages, so this works perfectly for us.
Thanks again, Bob Levine and everyone else for helping me so quickly!
I'n not a fan of immediate, either. The delayed setting allows you to have it both ways, and most of the time you don't need to see the stuff live.
