platform : Windows vista professional
browser : Firefox 21.3
But FlashPlayer doesn't appear on windows "Start > all programs".
There is no "FlashPlayer" folder under "Program files > Adobe" as well.
Right.... becuase it ISN'T a program... it's a PLUGIN for your browser. You'll find it in:
Internet Explorer - Tools (the little "gear" icon)>Manage Add-ons
Firefox - Tools>Add-ons - under the Plugins Tab
Thank you for the reply.
Then, what shoud I do to have run
I confirmed both on Firefox and Internet Exploere
but there is no FlashPlayer add on indicated.
Does it appear in your Programs in Control Panel?
Can you see the Flash animation at http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html ?
If not, is the Shockwave Flash plugin enabled in Firefox?
P.S. I see your Japanese Control Panel, so I say "hello from Gotanda"; that's where I am sitting.
That means Flash Player is correctly installed and working.
Do you have any specific problems using it?
Ok, now I understand: you need a Flash Player to play local .swf files.
You cannot do that with the browser add-on, you will need the standalone Flash Player (Projector) for this. You can download it from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
Note that the download is the player, not an installer, so you will need to make the file association manually.
I suggest that you place the downloaded player together with the other Flash files
on 32-bit systems: C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
on 64-bit systems: C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash
You didn't read what I wrote.
The download (Projector) from my link is named flashplayer_11_sa.exe
This is the player, not an installer. You need move it to the appropriate folder, as in my earlier post, then make a file association from .swf to flashplayer_11_sa.exe
I successfully downloaded *PROJECTOR* and succeeded to associate
.swf file to FLASH player as well.
Thank you for your kind support.
But I would say many users will focus on "Get the lates virsion"
AT FIRST as well as do not watch links bellow because they
are depicted in very small font.
It would be more kind if you emphasize, for instance,
"DO NOT click get the latest....." and "download link for
PROJECTOR is BELLOW the installer link" etc...
Thanks and regards,
