Sometimes the pop-ups end up behind the app. I think it's driver issues. Have you tried pulling the app to the side to look for the popup?
Another option may be to edit the output module so you have your own custom pre-sets saved. Do tht by going to Edit>Templates>Output Module and creating your own custom settings. I have all of my common settings saved so that I never have to go back to the output module and do some editing.
I already tried that. But the problem occurs even when I want to make a new template.
Reboot? Repaiar permissions? Update graphics drivers?
These problems are only with QuickTime, right? Weren't you having other QuickTime problems, too?
After Effects CC (12.0) has a problem with the QuickTime component crashing out from under it, in most cases because of this:
I did the following to solve ALL problems I had with crashes, file reading errors, AJA video preview, switching to other software etc.
(@Todd: refering to the other blog, all these problems are solved as well! I work with QT movies and MXF.)
– Deleted all DVCpro components
– Reset PRAM
– Repaired Permissions in Safe Mode
– Deleted AE prefs when starting AE
Now I can switch and play around like I always did.
And even my AJA output stays there when getting back to AE.
Thanks for your support and help!
