For use with CC, all the cards that you mention could be possibilities, but obviously at a different cost / performance level.
You need to ask yourself:
- how important is exporting to DVD for your workflow (faster GPUs and even multiple GPUS help this with CC)?
- how fast is the rest of your system? Premiere Pro has a way of taxing multiple computer resources at the same time and a lesser card would be a good balance for a lesser computer at the same time a better card may best serve the needs of a faster system
Regarding the "hack", simply find and rename the file "cuda_supported_cards.txt" every time Premiere is loaded or updated will allow any of the cards you mention to be recognized and assist the MPE engine in hardware mode.
Thank you for your reply.
My final Configuration will be the following:
Core i7-920 Quad-Core-CPU, 2,66 GHZ
25 GB RAM, 1333
SSD Disc, WD 1TB 7.200rpm 32MB Cache
+ GTX ....
I do Not need Speed for DVD Export. But general speed for mp4 and mov export would be good.I Need the GPU to keep processes fast when working with effects such as transitions, Color correction, scaling, multiple Layer and footage, etc. I also use various Plugins such ad red giants.
In AE i do all Types of tasks, also keying.
Which Card you Think Would fit best?!
I thought pp cc automarically recognizes my cards since CC?!
Can I turn this on VMware VM Machine running Prem ?
