Hello. I work on lots of images and sometimes when I get them they new feature 'layer filtering' is set to on, and sometimes it's off. I want it to always be off but can't find out if that's possible. I continually have to disable it manually when it hides layers I need and it's getting frustrating.
Layer Filtering is inactive by default.
Set the search to "Kind" and make sure none of the buttons to the right are set on.
Otherwise Layer Filtering will be active as shown in this screenshot.
I have closed/reopened psd files with the filtering on, and to my experience filtering settings are not saved.
I'm not sure what's causing it to happen, but I often get files with the filtering set to on. Maybe 5 percent of the time.
Odd. I have looked at Preferences, the Layer Panel menu, Layers menu, and even the View menu and I can't see a way to disable it.
If I do, I will post the answer.
