Select the Print Presets you want
Pick a location on your hard drive.
In InDesign CC
And choose the file you just saved
Thanks Eugene for your feedback but this unfortunately didn't work. In CS when I select Print Presets the only option that is listed is 'Default' no custom preset is shown, though when I'm in CS and go to Print > Printer > Layout this is where the presets are visible under a saved template called 'Custom'. Presets such as Duplex and Bypass are visible.
When I go to the same destination in InDesign CC no prests are shown, only reference to an old printer with a line (strike through) through each entry shown
Those would be presets saved under your Printers options - not related to Indesign.
Ah brill, I was wondering how I couldn't get this to work. I read at a few support pages earlier and I think I swayed off track thinking it was an InDesign issue. I'll have a tinker with it see if I can get it to work by manually setting the presets
Be sure if you make the presets in Indesign that you back them up somewhere using the steps above!
Presets are reset to zilch when your preferences are trashed, this can happen for multiple reasons.
Sound advice, will do. I greatly appreciate your time and help on this one
Many thanks again
