Welcome to Adobe Forums.
Do you have a MAC or Windows ?
Which browser are you using ?
I have Windows Vista and use Google. Don't care for Yahoo and HATE BING.
You write "download", but did you also install it?
Still, what is your browser?
Yes, I installed it. It said it was installed, but when I try to access something that requires the flash player 11, it asks me to download it again. I have Microsoft Vista and am using Google as my browser. I do not like Bing or Yahoo, and a friend recommended that I NOT download Google Chrome as it totally screwed up her computer.
I am confused; you write that you use the Google browser, which is Google Chrome, but you don't want to download it???
But then you also mention Bing and Yahoo, which are search engines, like Google.
I have Internet Explorer and use Google. The Google search engine and Google Chrome are NOT the same. Your Flash 11 keeps trying to get me to download Google Chrome but claims it is optional. I opt NOT to download it. My question is...am I required to have the Google Chrome search engine in order to use Flash 11 I downloaded and installed Flash again (for the third or fourth time)...the announcement on screen said Adobe Flash 11 was running (as it has each time), but it does not appear in my program list, and when I attempt to open something that requires the Flash 11, I am told I have to download it again.
I just checked my download file. There are two instances of Flash 11, both of which claim they were deleted. My Windows Explorer is version 9 which is the latest for Vista.
