Is there a way to print generate the whole project using Print Documentation Layout at one time if the project is a master made up of several merged projects?

No!

The merge occurs at run time for the online help, that is, when the user accesses it. Until then, and for the purposes of online help, the projects are separate and you have to print them that way. Sorry.

ok....so new question what would be an efficient way of printing the project, without generating a Printed Doc Layout for each project.

Can this even be done efficiently?

Totaly disregard this. You essentially answered that in the previous post. I guess I will just have to suck it up and generate all the projects. I will keep that in mind and when new ones are created and merged I will automatically print generate them.

The only way is to paste the content of one output into another.

If you're looking to have those multiple print docs available in PDF format, you can enhance the cross-project PDF search performance by creating an Index with the Advanced > Catalog feature in Adobe Acrobat Professional.

Good luck,
Leon
