Trying to install Adobe Flash

When I try to install Adobe Flash, the installer says it cannot install current configuartion. I have IE9 running Windows 7 Home Premium. After getting the error I read all the help forums and downloaded the uninstaller and ran that successfully but then when I tried to re install it gave the same error.
