I have a problem with a complex action. After hours of brianstorming I figured out about everything.... Except one thing!
I need to choose a color from the center of the image. Presently when I use the eyedropper, it selects a color, but when running the action on another file, it just show me the same color as when I recorded my action.
I am pretty sure there is a way outside scripting, but I am starting to loose my temper
Any help very much appreciated!
PS: For PSC4 if that matters.
Nope, interactive tools don't retain their coordinates in an action, only the result of their use. You would have to create something that defines the position e.g. a selection and then figure out the color... Anyway, the closest thing I see is creating a persistent color sampler with Alt+eyedropper tool...
Yes you very much for your answer.
I am still longing for a "color analyzer" in Photoshop. Something that can figure out the values of what's inside a layer, (or the average of course in case of multiple tones).
But in any case I'll test what I can do with a selection, and hope it will help.
