When you export MPEG2-DVD, ou will get 2 files, m2v and wav (or a3c if you specify dolby). Make sure you bring both into the DVD. If Encore, make sure you give it time to conform, but that is usually an issue on not hearing the sound in Encore, not missing from the disk.
how do I best export this 52 minute project to disc keeping HD resolution and audio?
Do a bluray disk with H.264, not a DVD.
Thanks for your advice - I tried exporting the file with H.264 as you suggested and it worked perfectly.
The next problem was trying to download the 8GB file onto a flashdrive which gave me error messages of not being able to handle a file of that size. Research on he web and I figured out how to reformat the drive from fat32 to ntsl.
Again, thanks for the help. I'm going to revisit Lynda.com on exporting and formats!

Ex-FAT will also work, and has the benefit over NTFS that it can also be read on a Mac system.
Thanks for this info, I did format as NTFS, but will use Ex-FAT in the
future. I had no idea it existed - why use anything else?
