Hello lovely Edge experts! Hi from New Zealand.
We have a responsive Wordpress site which has some (very simple!) Edge Animate interactive maps. They are fine on a computer, okay on an ipad or tablet but on a phone the Edge maps don't resize so most of the map is off the screen.
Here's a link to an example on our site:
Doers someone know the answer? How to make a Edge animation view responsively on mobile devices on a Wordpress site?
Thanking you very much in advance!
You might want to check out this tutorial here: http://sarahjustine.com/2013/04/08/create-scale-to-fit-projects-with-adobe-edge-animate/
Then when you place your Animate file inside of your WP page, make sure the containing frame is set to percentages so it scales down with the rest of your page. You currently have:
<div id="Stage_whatipu_21aug_104" style="height:580px;width:600px;" class="EDGE-3024302"></div>
After adding the code from the tutorial, change this to:
<div id="Stage_whatipu_21aug_104" class="EDGE-3024302"></div>
The additional div will allow the AN content to scale down and keep the rest of your design fluid.
Hi Sarah, thanks for this - I'll give it a go!
