Create a custom playbar for use with Captivate

      Hello Flash Forum,

I am using Captivate 3.0 to develop on-line tutorials. I would like to create a custom playbar that will display
the lesson currently being played. Paul Dewhirst has a great demo for this using the captivate variable name which get the title of the cp file and displays it in the playbar (like the CC icon, etc).

I would like to be able to set the value that gets passed to the playbar display, in a movie clip. I will assume that
I could add a new movie clip to the cpPlayBar.fla file (which can be customized), and have a text label that could display a value in the movie clip (like "Lesson 1"). The captivate fla's are all Flash 8, so I would like to use flash 8 for this. I am still in the dark as to how I would go about adding the movie clip to the playbar, and then being able to modify the cp file name, and just send "Lesson 1", "Lesson 2" to the playbar. I have my "lessons" each in a separate cp file.
Any tips on how to approach this?

      Thanks,
