login control panel

Hallo, I am Vincenzo . It  is long time since I have been following this fantastic forum and I would like to thank you for your kindness. I have but a problem I don’t know how to deal with. I would like to create a page “login” that, inserting my personal information, bring me to the page “controlpanel”, from which I could have the possibility to change some text fields  in the website. I don’t know how to start with…. Is there anybody that can tell me if this is possible?
