First check the paragraph style it may be space after or space before.
Second: use find and change Grep
Find what: \r+
Change to: \r
Thanks for your help!
Could you tell me where to find these features? I have literally just started on InDesign.
Thats fantastic! That solved the issue.
The only problem is, some of the documents I am doing are in Chinese, Japanese and Korean so it is extremely difficult to go back through the document and manually edit the new paragraphs.
Is there a way of doing this without losing my paragraph structure?
Can you explain more?
screen shot may help.
Sure, when I used the settings that you told me it changed all the paragraphs to look like this:
This document is in English, so I went back through it and added the paragraphs myself. This made the spacing perfect, exactly as I required (thanks for this) but like I said, in some of the work I am going the language is so foreign that it will be extremely difficult to manually paragraph things.
You have to create a lot of of paragraph styles for each purpose in the first language, for the second language again.
i am not working before with these languages to know how i handle the paragraph that applied. i hope someone know these language will help you.
on the other hand you need to apply a paragraph style to the body text [black text] and other paragraph to titles or subtitles [light green] include space before.
Thanks to both of you!
I think I have enough now to achieve what I need to.
