No, but before anyone can help you, you'll need to tell us what version of Photoshop you are using, and what your new update status is. Plus we need to know what your operating system is.
Whoops. Just noticed that you mention CC, so I guess you are talking about 14.1. So what is your OS?
I'm running OS 10.8.4 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7. I'm a publisher and have been using photoshop since it firts came on the market before Adobe purchased it. I have had no problems until the latest update. Now it opens and appears to be functioning normally but when I try to save changes I get the beach ball of death and have to force quit.

OP has not been able to reset preferences. Instead of reset window they get scratch disk window. Have you tried and susceeded?
I used time machine to go back to the previous version and everything is back to normal. I will upgrade later if needed. Thanks for trying to fix this.
