Hi all,
Is it my imagination or is the download link broken from W8 x86?
The webpage is here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2880289
But when you click on the the link for W8:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=711cb843-123e-4b69-a47c-7bd017da30a0
it redirects to a generic search page.
Anyone got a working link?
Cheers,
Mike

The problem with BOTH of those links is that they're MICROSOFT links and Adobe doesn't run Microsoft or their website.
Flash Player for IE in WIndows 8 is updated through Windows Update thanks to Microsoft embedding it themselves, but any problems with links at their site need to be addressed through Microsoft.
However, you can download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly from Adobe by clicking one of the following links.

Yup, I fully understand that those links are on Microsofts website but I was alerting to the fact that this is for an Adobe product, and the links are borked.
Perhaps I'm naively thinking that someone from Adobe will read this and contact MS (I've already posted on MS forums).
The unforunate thing is that as its Windows 8, you *can't* install directly from Adobe. It's MS or nothing so the download links from Adobe don't help - but thanks anyway!

Guess all I can do is keep my finger crossed that someone will wake up and fix the links....
Cheers,
Mike

The download links on the KB you posted work fine for me; they all download the appropriate msu for me.
Alternate download links (for Windows 8 only) can be found on http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-issues-windows-8.html#main-pars_header_0
However, the easiest way to update Flash Player on Windows 8 is by using Windows Update.
