Cannot install on Windows XP!

I am trying to download the latest version of Flashplayer on Windows XP but while installing I can only download 55% then get an error message saying "Error, failed to register"

Any ideas anyone?

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking one (or both) of the following links and selecting "Save target as" (IE) or "Save link as" (other browsers).

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

If you're unable to save those by right clicking, you have firewall or connection issues we cannot address here.
