When I try to update my flash player, I keep getting the notification "Action list not found" on the screen. At first this was happening when I was just trying my every day update to the current software... so I abandoned trying to update it... which brings up another point of contention. Why do we have to update this thing once per week? That is another conversation, but it became more and more difficult to function online without the update so I searched the forum for the offline download of Flash Player 11.8. I downloaded that, and then it told me I needed to update immediately, I did the update and I got the same result "action list not found." Please advise. Thanks!
Follow these instructions: How to perform a "clean install" of Flash Player in Mac OS X to the letter. You'lll perform an "offline" install and be up to date.
Adobe updates are released on average about every six weeks, not once a week. In fact, the most often they've been this year was in March when a security issue was addressed and an additional Windows update was released ten days after the regular update, but that wouldn't have affected you on a Mac.
