Why 600 px is not really 600 px

    ClaudeCormier

I am creating a document for the web and setting the page size to 600 px by 600 px.  My screen resolution is 1440 px.

Viewed at 100%, the document created looks proportionally to the screen like 800 px instead of 600 px. When export as pdf, the document looks even larger with all windows fully expanded.

To double check, I compared the document to other documents and images that are 600 PX width. The ID document or the resulting PDF from export are clearly much larger.

Even the PX ruler in ID does not look valid relative to the screen resolution.

      I am lost?

Can you help this beginner. Yes I have on order a good boon on ID CS6.
