Sequence presets would not be the concern...
media compatibility might.
Are there any sample clips available for download and testing?
What version of Premiere are you using?
Sorry,I am running Premiere CC.
I am looking for some clips now but as it is a newer camera I have to dig deeper.
I know peeps on this forum know thier stuff so I thought I would ask.
And yes, now that I re read my question the preset was the wrong thought process. My bad.
The link contains the information about what's included.
Thanks Wil. That was what I was looking for.
Love living in the cloud!
Just so everyone knows, I don't think this has answered the question yet.
The article simply talks about XAVC and not Sony's new XAVCS, the prosumer version.
Rather than the MXF wrapper of XAVC, XAVCS is an MPEG-4 wrapper.
It allows a lot of flexibilty in recording 4K, HD & Proxy, but looks like a propriety format.
Sony talks about how Vegas can edit, haven't seen any word about it working anywhere else.
Hoping its not like Sony's early AVCHD which wasn't easily edited anywhere else either...
Hi Flyaway Engineer. You are dead right , they are all talking about XAVC, not XAVC S.
I've just ordered a Sony FDR-AX1 and I hope to use Premiere Pro to edit.
So far nothing seems able except Vegas. I don't see XAVC S mentioned in Premiere Pro's next upgrade.
I hope I haven't wasted my money! Or just have to move away from Premiere Pro to Vegas?
I thought Premiere Pro supported AVCHD files?
