I've been having issues with all the projects I worked on over the summer as a consultant. I was provided a maxed out MacBook Pro Retina that I did all my editing on over the summer but I'm now consulting using my own computer and am unable to open any of the premiere files that were created on the MacBook.
I have tried it on multiple computers to no avail until I tried it on another Mac and the files open just fine, I looked into changing the I-Frame MPEG option to AVI but upon opening the files in Notepad++ as I've seen recommended I see what appears to be the problem.
Properly Working document
These are important projects that I would very much like to get working on again.
That first view is actually normal for CC project files.
If there was something Mac specific in the original project, like ProRes sequence settings, then it might well only work on another Mac and throw a fit when opened on a PC.
Do you know why the code is obfuscated in CC projects? Is it to force people to upgrade to CC because they can't copy and paste the code into an older project?
I've read that Adobe started zipping them tor size considerations.
