    Creative cloud woes

      Creative Cloud is not loading the home, files or fonts tabs. All the apps are showing as up to date, when I know they are not (I have Photoshop CC 14.0 and ACR 8.1 - they are not the latest versions). Senior technical support sent me an email with the following instructions:

       

      1. Please perform Complete clean Uninstall and Reinstall

      Clean Uninstall steps

      C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet

      C:\Users\<user_name>\App-Data\Roaming\Adobe*

      C:\Users\<user_name>\App-Data\Roaming\com.adobe.*

      C:\Users\<user_name>\App-Data\Local\Adobe*

      C:\Users\<user_name>\App-Data\Local-Low\Adobe*

      C:\Users\<user_name>\App-Data\Local\Virtual-Store\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe*

      ~ Registry Keys ~

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Macrovision

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe

      HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\VirtualStore\Machine\Software\Adobe*


      2) clear temp files , recyclebin and prefetch

      3) reistall and then try again

      Which failed at the first step... C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet does not appear anywhere on my computer.... and even if it did, what am I supposed to do? Have been on hold with technical support for nearly 30 minutes now. I wouldn't mind, but I'm paying a monthly fee for this!
