I'm unable to reproduce the issue when running my AIR app from Flex Builder.
Is your "video" folder within the "src" folder?
Also, what OS are you using? I tested on Win XP SP2.
No, the folder with the video is inside "bin-debug" folder, because I need it there, how I can do for play the video from that location and not from "src" folder?
OK, I moved my video from "src/video/Paul Moore.flv" to "bin-debug/video/Paul Moore.flv" and it still seems to work fine.
Although, I was having problems where I cleaned my project and my bin-debug folder got reset and I had to re-copy my video file back into the project. You may want to double-check that the same thing didnt happen to your video file.

When I copy the folder video to "src" folder, its works, but when I moved to "bin-debug" it doesn't.
I very weird, I dont know waht id the problem...
Are you hitting the "Run app" button from Flex Builder, or are you exporting an AIR app and running that?
I also tested on Win XP, what OS are you using?
I am Running the app from Flex Builder, and OS is Win XP SP 2.
But just work it in the src folder. :-s
Just posted similar issue and then noticed this thread.
My issue is that the VideoDisplay component doesn't want to accept any source path e.g. source = "../assets/videos/myVideoFile.flv" fails. It only accepts files in its current directory.(e.g. source = "myVideoFile.flv" ).
My project is web base ( not AIR) and the environment is WXP-SP2.
