Are you on shared or local storage for your media files?
Thanks for the reply!
I was editing from and external (though not shared) hard drive but having run into this issue I started importing and editing files straight from my desktop. This has not solved the problem and Premiere Pro continues to reconform my video randomly.
I have Premiere installed on my old MAC laptop and my new iMAC. Strangely, the issue only seems to take place on the new iMAC.
I purchased CS6 as a download through the Adobe website. Is it possible that it downloaded or installed incorrectly?
Thanks for your help!
Any thoughts on this Kevin?
I went to the Adobe site and downloaded the latest update. My previous version was 6.0. The newest update is 6.0.5. Do I need to install the updates between 6.0 and 6.0.5 or does the 6.0.5 update have all of the other updates integrated into it?
Any answers on these questions Kevin?
Where can I turn for support on this issue?
Hate to say it but I'm not feeling super supported here. Is there an Adobe support member I can speak to about my issues?
First, this is a user Forum, not official support.
Some Adobe folk may stop in occasionally.
Second, you can simply install the CS6.0.5 update
and ignore earlier updates.
Adobe Help and Support
Thank you, much appreciated!
I followed the link to Adobe support you posted but there doesn't seem to be an option to speak to an Adobe representative.
Is there a forum for product support?
This is it, but it's a user forum.
The link for paid support is on that page. Follow the Contact Us thread.
