I have a row of 3 boxes that are each 300px wide (fig 1). I want them to scale horizontally when the window gets more narrow, but when they hit a certain width (say 200px wide) I want them to each be in their own row (fig 2) and fill up the window.
I've seen some templates out there where it looks like they can achieve this but I haven't found a tutorial that covers this specifically. I've been playing around with the different layout rules in InDesign but can't figure it out.
Thank you. I actually read that page before I posted in the forums but didn't see where it explained how to acheive what I posted above. In fact, there's even an image at the top of the section (see below) that shows exactly the behavior I'm trying to acheive.... yet none of the examples below it show how to do it. In the examples none of the panels shift.. just grow wider/narrower, unless I'm missing something.
Edit: The behavior I'm trying to acheive is similar to how you control divs with floats and percentages using CSS.
