Thanks for choosing adobe forums
Please provide following information ;
What is the OS and version ?
What is the Graphics Card installed on the system ?
How much Ram do you have ?
Do you use any external Hard Drive ?
when I try to export 11 or more minutes of it...
Please finish that thought.
Windows 7, latest version (can't look it up at the moment).
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 460 SE
8 GB Ram
I have a 500 gb external drive I use but only to copy and backup some files.
Otherwise the project and premiere are installed on my second 1TB internal hard drive.
Sorry, when I try to export 11 or more minutes of it, the exporting process freezes and I have to force quit the render.
Are you exporting to the external drive?
Is the drive configured to 'time out' or spin down after a period of time?
Are you exporting to the internal drive?
Are you sure there is available space on the drive for the exported file?
Also, is it only this project that fails, or do other long projects also fail?
So far only this one. I was able to export a longer video, around 15 minutes, of raw game footage I had captured that was around but also didnt have any transitions.
Exporting to an internal drive which has more than enough space on it.
It sounds like something in this project may be corrupt. I'd look at what's on the timeline around 11 minutes in.
There doesn't seem to be anything in the sequence that looks corrupted. I can playback the project without any troubles. I tried converting some videos and images into similar formats, but that doesn't seem to have fixed anything.
One other thing I forgot to mention: I've exported the entire project out as 3 seperate chunks then I tried to throw those 3 into a new project. That new project, containing the entire video exported into 3 files, still wouildn't export.
Is the hard drive you're exporting to formatted as FAT32 or NTFS?
Have you tried other formats?
