When I use adobe photoshop, when I perform an action, for example, magic wand, the whole adobe screen goes black, then goes back on.  I have a new, fast computer with lots of memory, Window 8.  Help!

Only third option applies as I'm on mac. But it doesn't work. Tried it before. It might be a bit better but the screen still flashes.

  1. Go to Preferences > Performance... and uncheck Use Graphics Processor. Restart Photoshop. If this fixes it, try updating your graphics driver and re-enable Use Graphics Processor.  https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html
