In version 11, all templates are downloaded as needed. There is not a way to get them all in one download.
Please check out my blog post on Premiere Elements 11 Content
Your download choices from within the program are for the particular Content choice or ALL. But, the wait for one can be very long, although some claim they can accomplish that task in seconds. So, the wait for ALL can seem endless. There is an option for having the download take place in the background if that is any help.
Patience is a good part of the answer.
Thanks for your response. It kind of sucks in a way. Earlier versions of Elements included the templates in the installation of the software. This means. I have to connect each of my 4 work stations to the internet one at a time to download. Adobe...You screwed up on this one! :-(
After you have done the download for one Internet connected computer, you should be able to Copy that Additional Functional Content, to say a thumbdrive, if you do not have those computers networked in a LAN, of some sort, then just Copy the material, in their folders, to each of the other computers.
Good luck, and none of us is likely to know what Adobe's thinking was, regarding the on-line download only concept. Others have had similar complaints.
Thanks Bill. I'll be burning the menus content to my thumbdrive and install them on the other three work stations. I really hated putting any of my work stations on line. They are for Video/Films/Photos/Slides transfer work only. Too risky getting a virus being on line.
Thanks to all for your input. Enjoy the day. Joe. :-)
That Content to a USB Flash Drive tip is included in the May blog post referenced back in my posted 2.
