1. Re: PGC error in EN CS6
Richard M Knight Sep 23, 2013 4:47 AM (in response to nescio nomen)Will Encore make a DVD folder instead of a disc?

Stan Jones Sep 23, 2013 6:00 AM (in response to nescio nomen)In addition to Richard's question, what is the full text of the PGC error; they are not all the same.
How did you determine the title was the issue? If you simple remove it, does the project build?

nescio nomen Sep 23, 2013 12:41 PM (in response to Stan Jones)I'm not at the PC that gave the error, so I can't give the exact error message now, but it always came up at timecode 9.03.20. Upon inspection that proved to be the start of the title in the PR timeline. Retried with a newly created title in PR and exported again. Same error. In PR I moved the title to timecode 9.02.22 and exported again. Same PGC error, but now indicating 9.02.22
I tried build and create an ISO, but both gave the same error. I haven't tried to create a DVD folder yet.

Stan Jones Sep 23, 2013 6:24 PM (in response to nescio nomen)When you can, let us know what the exact wording of the error message is. (You can post a screenshot.)
So if you delete the title, what happens?
If you replace it with one of the titles that works okay, what happens?

Stan Jones Sep 30, 2013 7:21 PM (in response to nescio nomen)Export with a different name; create a new encore project, import there. Does the error occur?

7. Re: PGC error in EN CS6
cc_merchant Oct 1, 2013 9:46 AM (in response to Stan Jones)Created a new export file with a new name, a new EN project, imported only the timeline and the audio as asset. No menu, nothing, no chapters, absolutely nothing. Tried 'Build'.
Same error, but at a different place, 2 frames before the end of the movie. This is black video and music slowly fading out.

8. Re: PGC error in EN CS6
Stan Jones Oct 1, 2013 10:20 AM (in response to cc_merchant)Any markers on the PR timeline that you are exporting?
Drag a clip of the HDV footage to the new item icon (i.e. make a matching sequence), add a few more of those clips. No scaling, no nothing. Export MPEG2-DVD, and change nothing, except changing to CBR 8 is okay.
New Encore project, import as you did. Now what?
Looking for something that works, so we can decide if you have an install issue, asset issue, etc.
