using windows explorer, do you see your connected device?
Why do you say that?
However, with Flash Professional, you can deploy AIR applications on iOS directly, bypassing the usage of iTunes.
With Flash CC, you no longer need iTunes anymore.
@ kglad, yes, the device is shown to be connected.
Hey guys, I found a solution. Just keep your iTunes opened when you are publishing the app from desktop to the device~!
Nov 28 - Still having issues with trying to install to attached iOS device.
At first it says "No iOS devices connected. Ensure that the selected devices are connected.", but it is and shows in the Post Publishing List, and is selected. Then it will say the program is installed - but it isn't.
If I load the ipa through iTunes, it puts it across but can't finish. The icon shows greyed out then when tapped reverts the app name to Installing... and goes nowhere.
Also doesn't show up on Simulator - goes through the motion but then no app icon.
If I create a new blank iOS package and try to publish to the device I get: The device has encountered an unexpected error. Installation Error: ApplicationVerificationFailed. If I try and put this to the simulator it also goes through the proces, opens the simulator but no app icon.
Xcode though will deliver to the iPad and the simulator and the app functions. I was able to upload an ipa to itunes and it was accepted and published even though I couldn't test it on a device or simulator.
Is there a way of finding what error is occuring. Using Flash CC SDK 18.104.22.1688 22.214.171.1240 to an iPad2 based on Mac OS 10.9
I'm having the exact same problem. It's so frustrating that I am on the verge of giving up Flash CC.
There seems to be no solid solution as everyone has told me "try this" or "reinstall that" or recreate all your certs and PPs.
Is there any update to this?
Did you try keeping your iTunes on while u run Flash CC? That fixed the problem for me.
That does not work!
Does not help...
I'm expiriencing the same issue. Except for there's no error message.
I can see my device in "Post Publishing" list.
ipa generated with no problems. But still no app installed on device.
So I have to manually install the app from iTunes. And of course debugging doesn't work. That's very annoying and takes a lot of time.
Using Animate CC MAC Build 126.96.36.199 (trial)
Target AIR 188.8.131.52 for iOS
tried few iOS devices from this provisioning profile. with same result. no auto-install.
iTunes is opened during the process.
