The problem is likely with the inability of the text to re-render quickly enough as the clip rotates. I would make a graphic of the whole thing and animate that.
i tried setting it to play at 5 fps, and the problem still exists... Not that I'm saying you're wrong - but that would be surprisingly slow.
is the text in a dynamic field? and is it a device font?
I believe that Rob is saying to simply 'break' the text apart (do this twice) and convert it to a bitmap shape, and convert it to a MC or graphic symbol, before tweening. not to change the framerate of the swf file.
The problem is definitely not anything to do with text not rendering fast
enough... You certainly do not need to convert it into a graphic. I animate
dynamic text (including rotation) all the time and have never seen this. It
looks to me as if you've got a movieClip in there that has a keyframe
without your text. I think it almost has to be something simple like that.
