Why can't you reinstall?

What have you done to try resolve the issue?
What error message you are seeing on installing through creative cloud ?
I am on a brand new macbook pro. I downloaded Indesign from the creative cloud as well as photoshop. photoshop works fine but when i opened ID, i recieved an error that said "installation failed, please uninstall/reinstall.
So I uninstalled it from my computer. When i went back to the creative cloud, it showed that i had already installed the app, and it was up to date, so there was no way to reinstall it.
You need to Quit(not just close) Creative cloud, then relaunch it and as product is not installed on your machine , now it will show InDesign as avaliable to install.
Do you remember what message you got when it failed last time(basically message which appears on clicking Learn More link) ?
All i can remember it saying was "installation failed, please uninstall/reinstall". i didn't click any further links than that. i shut down the computer last night, so maybe when i reopen later today it will work. will let you know and thanks so much for the input.
