Adobe photoshop lightroom 4.1 error 1935

spent all day trying to install even after reading and following instructions on how to fix error 1935 and still no success with lightroom 4.1 heres the full error message

"Error 1935.An error occured during the installation of assembly component {B708EB72-AA82-3EB7-8BB0-D845BA35C93D}. HRESULT: 0x80073712"

i could really use some help.

also currently using windows 7 and have adobe photoshop elements 8 which has been installed for awhile now not sure if it could be conflicting or not.

alright got it resolved the hard way. had attempted the steos before hand but i didnt have virus protection. installed avg to find some of the files being infected by an unremovable virus. basically it held down the install action preventing programs to finilize. but nothing a reboot couldn't cure. lightroom is now active elements 8 working fine now to save up and get more adobe programs. thanks for the replys and assistance.

yeah i just finished trying to install the updated version still getting the same message internet off or on exited out of all programs nothings working.
