I'm trying to export a pdf portfolio and I'm having some difficulties with one of the images as it becomes blurry/pixelated.
I would like the pdf to be under 10mb so I can send it via e-mail, so I can't use maximum JPEG quality on the export settings (which solves the problem but makes the file too big)
All the other images work fine and only this one becomes like this in the end.
These are the current export settings I'm using
I've checked the original image and it should be fine, it has the same size as a lot of the images used on the other pages.
Would appreciate a lot if someone could help me out with this.
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong here or not.
Thanks in advance
On quick glance you're creating a JPEG from a JPEG. I think what you're seeing is compression onto compression.
You might want to try swapping the image out in Acrobat to put the original JPEG in.
Thanks for your reply, that makes sense but why doesn't it happen with the other JPEGs?
I have been trying a lot of ways and never works unless I put maximum quality or JPEG (lossless) which both make the file very big
Hard to say why it's not happening. But I suspect that the nature of those images is hiding the additional compression. The picture you posted has a very flat area next to a sharp line. That's exactly the sort of image that shows compression the most readily.
