I have an excel sheet (or XML) of 300 names and job titles, and an InDesign file containing a badge design.
Does anyone know of a way I can import these names and titles into the InDesign document creating a new page or PDF for each? or would i have to copy and paste manually?
Read about Data Merge in the Help files....
Assuming your page design (the badge) is the same size for the output you need, you'll merge one record per page. Then Export that document to PDF.
Help file should be pretty explanatory. But if not, pop back into the forum and explain what you've done and where you are stuck. Someone will be around to aid.
