    Page Roll (Curl) Effect

      Hello All!

I'm wondering if there are any tutorials out and about that would show a person how to make a cool "roll in" effect in Flash 8.

      Here's an example: http://www.templatemonster.com/flash-templates/11214.html

I like the way the white rolls in from the top right. I need to do something similar to that but bring it in from a diffrent direction.

      Thanks!

its not flash, flash has no such abilities.
it is done in 3rd party tool like After Effects and imported to flash
          as images sequence.

though i've not tried it before, you can consider creating the corner (with shadow) as a graphic1, the whole piece of paper as another graphic2, and a diagonal mask.

place graphic 2 stationary on stage, then tween (translate) the mask in the direction of the roll. at the same time, tween (translate and scale down) graphic1 in the same direction to create the effect.

that's what you can do if you don't have the After Effects

I normally do that in AF but there is one more way, Photoshop plugin :
              http://www.avbros.com/english/products.html
Apply a little - export image, apply again - export image and so on...
Till you get about 12 images sequence...

You can do something like that using code (complicated way), using masks (logical way) or the way that page did (frame - by - frame animation)
