    Flying Sparks

      Hello,

I am trying to make an outro for a client's YouTube channel, and they want sparks flying in the background as shown in this video's outro:

Can anyone please help me try to do this? I tried playing around with particles but not much success.

      Thanks,

      Adam

I'm using AE CS6, by the way.

Any particle system. Try any of AE's built in CC particle plug-ins.  There are lots of tutorials available. Just apply the particle system to a black solid placed between your background and your foreground elements.

Thanks Rick! But how would I get the particles to look like those in the video? Like what shape and animation preset?

Experiment, change the blend modes. I don't have the time to duplicate the look exactly. That's your job. It's not hard, it just takes a little playing around with the settings and learning how the particle systems work. Particle systems are generally based on Newton's laws and gravity. Adjust those parameters to get the particles to float.
