Recently, I was publishing content for www.everyone411.com on Facebook and noticed that the images I had been saving for the web as JPG were loosing a lot of quality when uploaded to Facebook. However, finally I started using PNG 24 and this resolved it. Why is this the case? Do some sites prefer PNG-24 to JPG?? I had always used PNG-24 for transpartent images primary. Thanks!

What do you mean?
Are you aware that posting a screenshot of the image in Photoshop and on Facebook should have illustrated the issue quite nicely?
What Color Space do you work in?
Do you embed the profile?
Which browser do you use?
