    hyphens in mx:requests

      hey there,

      I'm having a little trouble with a HTTPservice i'm trying to write (which integrates with a RoR back end)

      take the following code
      quote:

      <mx:HTTPService id="newProject" method="POST" showBusyCursor="true" url=" http://localhost:3000/projects.xml" contentType="application/xml" result="openProjects.send();closedProjects.send();">
      <mx:request xmlns="">
      <project>
      <name>{projectName.text}</name>
      <client-id>{projectClient.selectedItem.data}</client-id>
      <status>true</status>
      </project>
      </mx:request>
      </mx:HTTPService>

      compiling the code returns:
      quote:

      Error: Syntax error: expecting colon before minus.
      <mx:request xmlns="">

      if I remove the hyphen the file compiles A-OK - but the hyphens are used in ruby to define stuff, so I can't remove them.

      is there a work around for this?

      cheers
