Check the file associations in bridge cc under Edit>Preferences>File Associations and set the appropriate ones to photoshop cc.
(set all the ones that say photoshop cs3 or cs5 to photoshop cc)
What version of windows are you using?
I should have wrote
In bridge cc under Edit>Preferences>File Type Associations
Is your windows 8 an 32 or 64 bit operating system?
Sorry that it has taken so long to get back, I am going to Hospital
tomorrow for a hip replacement and I have been
having a barrage of tests.
I have the 64 bit operating system. Now when I try to open a file in Camera
Raw it tries to open in CS5. Of course the
camera is too new and wont open.
When I go to Preferences<File type associations I find my Fuji listed with
Photoshop CS5. There is a down arrow but
nothing happens when I click on the arrow. When I go to browse I get a long
message that says the file is not available or on
I have CS3 and CS5 on the computer at the moment and sell as CC
I fixed the problem accidentally. Lightroom was requiring registration?? I
looked for the CC app
but was corrupted (I think) I went online, found it, signed out, and
downloaded the CC app, signed in
and it fixed both the lightroom and the camera raw problem. Go figure, it
had me beat.
Anyhow it is all working smoothly now.
Thank you for your efforts.
