In-app purchase approved for sale, folios published, why would new issue not show in Newstand?

How long ago were the in app purchases approved? If they were approved only recently, there is a known bug with Apple that in-app purchases aren't showing up right away.

Yes - I am having this problem as well. And if I delete the app and install it again - the new issue will appear in the newsstand... I am using an iPad 2 with OS 6.1.3 installed

I am wondering if this might be the problem...

In the DPS App Builder, under advanced options - there are 2 settings (which are both unchecked in my app)

"Always open background downloaded issue"

"Auto download latest entitled folio on first launch"

I am wondering if these should be checked and if this affects my newsstand icon not updating...

I am having the same problem. Folio refuses to publish, either as a Free or Retail edition. Folio version is 26, App is 28 and iOS 7.0.2

When I published the iPad folio first it published fine. Then I tried to publish an iPhone folio (same part number) and the iPad one disappeared! If I build a new folio and use the same part number as above it published??

This App already has previous folios published in it and they are fine.

I have been struggling with this for days. In the meantime no problems publishing to other Apps that are v26 with folio v26.

I have opened a case with support. Will keep you up to date

Those two settings in App Builder have nothing to do with Newsstand.

Have resolved my issue thanks to Adobe support. Not sure if it is the same problem as the other posters above.

Basically the issue was related to Metadata in Folio Producer. A previous issue of the magazine had incorrectly been given the folio name 'Oct2013' and published. Then the error was spotted and the folio name changed to 'Oct2012'. But crucially never updated. So as you look on Folio Producer the name seemed fine but on the Distribution Server the name was still 'Oct2013'

Then when I published a new edition this month called 'Oct2013' it conflicted with the incorrectly named folio on the Distribution server. By just clicking Update on the older Folio, thus changing its name on the Distribution server to the correct 'Oct2012', the Oct2013 appeared. I wouldnt have spotted this in a million years without access to the Distribution Server.

DId you first add the folio product id to iTunes Connect and then publish the folio with the product id?Or first publish the folio with the product id that's not in iTunes yet?

What happens when you reinstall the viewer?
