    Command Line Compile AS3 only project issue

    EXFGHT%
      I am having an issue with compiling an AS3 only project from the command line.

      The compiler mxmlc takes the path to an .as file as in
      mxmlc test.as

      This requires the test.as file to contain the Test class, thats fine and works but what I want is that the class should be in a package like "com.mydomain.apps" i.e.
      package com.mydomain.apps{
      public class Test{}
      }

      But I cant get this to compile
      Neither "mxmlc test.as"" works nor does placing test.as in a subfolder and calling "mxmlc \com\domain\apps\test.as"" as the compiler complains that the file directory structure must match the package.

      Is this a limitation of the compiler or is there a work around?

          You can give this a try:
          mxmlc.exe -source=path=. com/domain/apps/Test.as

            hi i got your problem. if you want to compile Test.as file which shud be in package name com.mydomain.apps then your Test class should be in a folder structure as com/mydomain/apps...
            i.e. Test.as should be in apps folder where apps folder should be in mydomain and mydomain should be in com folder...
