Thanks Eugene - it helped me look at what percentage of the file was being used up where. Have managed to get it down to 15MB which is a start
Okay - With the 15MB pdf, when I go into the PDF Optimizer dialog box, it's telling me that the Fonts are using 40% and the Acrobat Forms are using 29%.
Anyone know of a way I can reduce either of these???
Many thanks in advance!
Are you using standard system fonts, like times, verdana etc. for the Forms?
When you made your PDF go to the Advanced section and make sure the Subset of fonts is set to 100%
My 'forms' are just interactive buttons with rollvers - not forms someone can fill in. Not using standard fonts for these though. Would it make a difference if I changed the buttons at least?
Can only go to an Advanced section if I want to export a PRINT pdf, not an INTERACTIVE one.
Ah I see yes - sorry I was getting mixed up with things there.
Try taking the buttons out and see if that makes a difference.
Do it on a copy of the file.
