Layers management

Using InDesign for DPS makes layers panel useless, as long as interactive objects override any other static element.

Making interactive objects respect layers would be my favorite Christmas gift.

That's not likely to happen. They're called overlays for a reason.

Hello Bob,

I know your position about that, you wrote it many times
But in my opinion, naming them 'overlays' isn't enough to make this bug a feature.
And it would be great to be able to structure the whole doc using layers panel.
That's a question for engineers.
I'm ready to wait til next Christmas if needed

It would indeed and I'm merely trying to control your expectations.
You'll find the same limitations in interactive PDFs.
