Do NOT uninstall Premiere Pro CS6 until you read all of these links!
CS6 is the final Encore http://www.adobe.com/products/encore/faq.html
Also, The tutorial list in message #3 http://forums.adobe.com/message/2276578 may help, with more help in message #5
Welcome to the Premiere Pro forum! You don't need to uninstall any CS6 applications, they will run side by side with the CC applications. If you would rather uninstall them to save hard drive space, that's OK too. You may want to keep Encore CS6, though, as there is no CC equivalent. So, either way you go is OK. You don't need the Cleaner application in this case. Just use the uninstallers located in each application's folder.
Okay I will be sure to read the links before making a move. Thanks John!
Thank you Kevin. I need as much free hard drive space as possible so I will probably choose to uninstall rather than run side by side. I can't think of any reason to keep both versions especially since I am a noob and don't have any projects in either version yet. Again, thanks for your response. It is appreciated
If you will need/want to output to a DVD, or BD (Blu-ray Disc), then, as Kevin recommends, you WILL want to keep Encore CS 6, as PrPro CC does not offer any authoring functionality. One needs a program, like Encore, for that.
Be sure to see AdobeTV for a ton of great tutorials.
Good luck, and also check out Learning PrPro: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/878529?tstart=0
