I am running CS6 and am having the most peculiar problem. I have a GoPro Clip that is cut into a timeline of P2 footage. I have used the Lens Distortion Filter on the footage (and on a photoshop cutout as well in video track above it). I need to drop the opacity of the clip on Video 1 so that the photoshopped cutout from the video hangs in limbo. However, when I drop the opacity on video track 1 it does nothing until I disable the Lens Distortion filter. Then it works as advertised. Turn the Lens distortion filter back on and the opacity is 100% no matter what I do.
Can anyone confirm this or have a work around?
You are on a Mac?
Windows no issue.
As a workaround: nest clip with lens distotion then lower opacity.
No, I'm on Windoze.
My work around was to cut in a section of black video on track 1 and dissolve to black, letting the still image on track 2 float over that. But that combo, ie. lens distortion and opacity, appears very buggy. Now this is one of the few 1920x1080 clips in a mostly 1280x1080 timeline (P2 is not square pixels), so that may be contributing..
