    Presets?

    a7491@drdrb.com Level 1

Hi there. Is there any chance in Adobe Premiere to save our presets? For examply: I have modyfied by me shortcuts and workspace. And I woul like to SAVE somewhere and then on another computer use the same settings. I cannot find  "Export settings" option. Is that possible? If yes, how to do that?

This is what the Sync feature is for with Premiere Pro CC.

            He has CS6.

You can Open you KBD shortcuts on another computer by copying the file to it.

              Hi,

To copy the keyboard shortcuts, please copy the .kys file from the following location C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\PremierePro\6.0

The name of the .kys file should be "Adobe Premiere Pro Custom.kys". Please copy this file & paste it to the same location on your other computer.

This should work for Windows machines.

If you have a MAC then please copy the .kys file from /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Premiere Pro/6.0 & paste it in the same location on the other computer.

Please try the steps & see if they are of any help.

              Thanks

                  Hi,

                  Try this.

Please copy the contents of "Layouts" & "Archived Layouts" from the following location C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\6.0 & paste them on the same location on the other computer. Now launch Premiere Pro & check if you have got the workspaces back.

If on a MAC then copy the contents of the two folders (i.e "Layouts" & "Archived Layouts") from the following location

                  /Users/[username]/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/6.0

& paste them at the same location on the other computer.

Please try the steps & see if they are of any help.

                  Thanks

You do not need to shout. Very impolite.
