Pattie F Oct 7, 2013 12:11 PM (in response to A.T. Romano)Devices running iOS and Revel 2.1 can upload the native mov videos to Revel that were created on the iphone or ipad.
Adoberevel.com supports some additional formats. We will be publishing an FAQ on this in the near future in the Revel FAQ subforum at: http://forums.adobe.com/community/revel/faq

An email notification alerted me to an addition to this thread that I created relating to Adobe Revel before I actually tried using it in conjunction with Premiere Elements in October 2013. The following is the blog post on my initial Adobe Revel experiences in that regard, published subsequently later in October 2013.
http://www.atr935.blogspot.com/2013/10/pe12-adobe-revel-add-mediapublishshare.html
It was not a positive experience, but I learned much and defined what I could do and not do. I suspected that Adobe Revel was still a work in progress by Adobe when I tried to use it for my Premiere Elements purposes.
As mentioned in the blog post, in the near future I will revisit it again to re-evaluation the situation for me in Premiere Elements and my computer environment. Using webDVD in Adobe Revel still remains an unanswered question.

The mac app 1.10 can not play video. You should see a version in the future that can. Currently the apps for Win8, iOS, and our web version at adoberevel.com can play all videos that are in revel.

Richard North Dec 31, 2013 1:59 AM (in response to Pattie F)Is there a rough ETA for a release of the Mac app which will support video? i.e. in the order of weeks, months?
Unfortunately the lack of this feature is one of the main sources of friction which has me looking at switching to other services - it would be great to have!

Unfortunately, I am unable to publish release dates for revel versions. Until we have an updated Mac app, you can login to adoerevel.com in a browser to upload/view video if you like.

Although iOS only supports native mov files created in iOS, adoberevel.com supports many more file formats. See details here:

Revel is a different program than photoshop.com, and therefore has some different features. I will add your request for webdvd to the wish list for the team to consider.

Thanks for the information about Adobe Revel not yet supporting webDVD the way that photoshop.com did.
We will watch for further developments in your team's activities and check them out when new features become available.
